• Re: Amazing Journey-Pinball Wizard-See Me, Feel Me-Listening to You---What concert?

It could well be one of the two gigs that's on this website, 1973. Philly or Largo. Did Pete intro Pinball Wizard as ''Pineball Blizzard'' for a laugh? If so then it's Largo 12/6/73 if not it's Philly 12/4/73 Also, have you heard the full length My Generation on Live at Leeds, (particularly from when My Gen seems to be over) something tells me ...

  • Re: Wolfgang's weirdness: Pink Floyd- Oakland Coliseum, May 9, 1977

Ref the voice before UAT, I've just had a listen (or three) and it is VERY hard to tell who it is. It's the classic sort of thing Roger would say and it was around this time he was getting very annoyed with noisy audiences. I don't think Dave would bother trying to shut them up, Roger would. I also thought it was Rick, which is possible as it's a ...

  • Meddle Tour?

Did PF do a tour for the release of Meddle? I've never come across a gig recording that seems to fit that bill. Mostly just performances of ''One of These Days'' and ''Echoes'' surrounded by earlier stuff (which I guess was before Meddle was recorded). Never heard the other Meddle tracks live and would be great if they're out there somewhere.

  • Re: Green is the colour

Green is the Colour was featured on the 1969 film ''More'' (and indeed the PF Soundtrack CD) which is set in Ibiza, so that makes sense. However, it's pronounced ''Ibeetha'' which sounds like..

  • Re: Favorite floyd album cover?

I'll stick to the thread and stick to which is my favourite album cover. Has to be Animals - quint essentially English. One hell of a building, Battersea power station and last time I looked is still there but just a shell. Also the story behind shooting the photo is legendary.

Have a listen to the concertn on WV - Philly 12/4 (the end chunk after Won't Get Fooled Again). You may well find this is part of or all of what you mention. I think you are refering to the Largo gig - 12/6 If not - I'll do some more digging for you. *update* - I'm totally confused now, I just checked the 12/6 show on WV and that has Pinball ...

  • Re: Philadelphia 1973: Who's Right?

Firstly, if: ''It is well documented that The Who played in Boston on 12/3'' then they couldn't of been in Philadelphia playing as well. Secondly, I've had a rumage through my bootlegs and I have 3 vinyls from this gig. Although none of them are date specific I have sheets printed off from the ''Baba O'Riley's Bootleg Page'' webiste for ...

  • Re: Concert Vault Feedback

I dont know if this is in the right place - for the life of me I couldnt find 'new post' in the Feedback Forum... The Aug 16 1985 Dire Starits concert - ''New Castle'' should be ''Newcastle'' (It's a town in Northern England).
