I too attended many shows at the Cap Center. I believe you are correct that this was the first major show at this venue. I didn't make this Who show, but did see them there in the summer of '76. My understanding is that the opening act for this '73 show was a little known southern band named Lynerd Skynerd. The next big show @ the CC was Dylan
