Totally love all of the WV shows, but I'm really digging the Kenyon College show. Very good sound, and the band is not yet running all over each other. Some of Billy's solo segments are just great. Anyone else feel the same way?

Just repeating SoundChaser's question from Wednesday in case it was overlooked...
''I see this is the only one that is ''streaming only''...are there plans to make it available for download?''
I'm curious as well.

Well, I'll just put in my $.02, and say that I've purchased all of the shows that have been for sale, and I've been extremely happy. So have a whole bunch of friends who have the shows.

An old pal of mine who was a long-time McLaughlin/Mahavishnu fan and collector was listening to the Yale University show, and said that the track that begins with Jan Hammer's solo...around 12:00 into the last track as presented here...was announced from the stage on more than one occasion as ''Muse Blues'' (gigs he attended in the DC/Baltimore ...

Now I see that I got confused 'cuz I just kinda assumed that the two May '73 gigs at the Palace were at the same place, but obviously not. For clarification and additional info, I Googled both theaters. The one in Albany is the ''Palace Theatre,'' founded in 1931 and renovated in 2002 (www.palacealbany.com), and the second one, in ...

Thanks. I don't know what I was looking at. Obviously not at all the right details!

In Dinky Dawson's article posted on the WV site elsewhere, he says, ''Earlier in the year we played all kinds of venues, from college gymnasiums to concert halls, and every performance had special moments. You can find some of these special moments on Wolfgang’s Concert Vault. One concert in particular, Waterbury, Connecticut in May, 1973, is ...

I've played four of the shows so far, and have been very happy to have them all. I agree that these are providing a great way to document the evolution of the band. This, along with the opportunity to catch JMcL on his current U.S. tour, around his 50th year of live performing, has made for a wonderful few weeks for this McLaughlin/Mahavishnu fan.

OK. Thanks. And thanks for the shows in general.

''This date/venue change, along with several other updates and corrections will be implimented shortly. Stay tuned!''
