There are a few hints during the interview that this might not be from 1989:
-That the tour was announced in NYC with the Stones playing on a flatbed truck driving down 5th Avenue.
-That it was the first tour for the new Stone, Ron Wood.
-That the album being promoted was the compilation ''Made in the Shade.''
-That a large part of the new and ...

Hey! Really enjoyed this but where did it come from? Who and/or what is ''With Mary''?
45 minutes later: Whoops, jumped the gun there. After listening all the way thru I gather this was done with Mary Travers (although I thought her show was at Pacifica in CA not NY). At any rate, a great listen and look forward to hearing the new Palladium show.

Thanks Corry. Once you provided the correct spelling of the name I found this bit in the San Francisco Chronicle of January 11, 1998 (http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/chronicle/archive/1998/01/11/PK13632.DTL).

Does anyone know why Bill Graham introduces Bill Kreutzmann as ''Bill Summers''? An inside joke or just a slip of the tongue? The introduction isn't on the InternetArchive.org stream and DeadLists Project makes no mention of this.

Some more observations on the revised “new” or “featured” weekly format.
CV’s home page no longer distinguishes between shows we can only listen to and shows we can download. I don’t understand why this information would be removed and now only be visible on the main page of each particular show.

But is it “new” or “featured”?
Months ago I went thru the CV catalog of performers and put together a list of concerts that interest me. About half are shows I want to listen to before deciding whether to purchase. The rest are shows I’ve decided to purchase without previewing (I want the thrill of first listening to it powered thru amp/speakers ...

I think it should be noted that this is from Bear's post at his website (http://www.thebear.org/index.html). Also the last update provided on this concert was: ''Sony has no schedule for release as yet (!). Updated 21 JUN 2005.''
Perhaps Bear and CV could get together so that we could hear this before we are all dead (and ungrateful).

A fantastic Elvin Bishop concert download; many thanks! Like many others I look forward to seeing more of my personal favorites. In the meantime, it would be nice to see a post informing us, in a general way (no names needed!), about the issues and problems you face in presenting more downloads. Some are probably obvious, but others perhaps not.
