I can't believe it's been 7-8 months and still no lossless downloads.
Back after the lossy mp3's were offered up, we were told lossless was next. I posted on a fairly regular basis asking for some type of projected date for that, and I see it hasn't come to fruition.
Never will. Oh well. What else should I expect..

It really would be appreciated. No kidding!

''Could not have said it any better!
There are several show in the archive I'd fork over some $$ for. But not for lossy files!''
Many, many people are willing to pay some bucks for what's being offered. I'm not sure if this site is still negotiating with artists about prices, but I've been asking, as well as many others, when lossless ...

If someone at Wolfgang's Vault could post a tentative date for lossless downloads it would be very much appreciated.
Thank you.
-
Could someone PLEASE make an announcement about when lossless downloads will be available?
It will be much appreciated.
Thank you.
-
Since performers are paid more through WG Vault downloads than other sites, I would think they would want as much exposure and downloads as possible. Lossless downloads will do that. I say that if you truly care about the bands and want to stay true to Wolfgang, you'll offer lossless downloads ASAP.
Thanks!

I'd love to pay for lossless. But as others are saying, it must be lossless.
Thanks in advance!
BTW, any ideas when lossless may be available?
-
Will the (FLAC) lossless downloads cost the same as the mp3 downloads?Still can't wait for them!!!
-
You state that ''lossless music will be offered sometime in the future'' and later that the streaming concerts is ''at a substantial cost to us. We hope you will purchase music to help with this cost''. We will purchase many of the concerts that you'll offer in lossless format. I'm not sure how much clearer it can be that as soon as lossless files ...
-
Could someone please post a possible month or date when lossless will be available? The traffic here will increase exponentially!
-
Again thanks for making the concerts that you have available. I'm certain that the larger names (bands) will come. I'm sure Wolfgang's is checking out how much they're going to need to upgrade or stay the same with their servers.
I'm (and I'm sure many other people) just waiting for the lossless before I start buying!!!
-
Well, congratulations on putting up the downloads!
Unfortunately there's nothing I would buy even if they were lossless.
The good side is that I'll only buy lossless.
The progress is looking up!
-
We'll, the anticipation is driving a lot of crazy! *Any* info at all would be appreciated.
As far as the lossy vs. lossless question, a large part of us won't pay $10 for an mp3 concert. Certainly for lossless, but that kind of money deserves to be paid for the ''real thing''. You can put DRM in the files, that's fine with me, but lossless ...

I bet the legalities will be worked out before downloads begin. I'm not sure when the downloads will start but legal eagles will have done their job and the backbone/infrastructure (fornat and servers) will be in place before the downloads start. I just can't wait!
-
If the price per download is $3.99, I suppose we're talking about lossless. I'd never pay that much for mp3. I've paid the $0.99 at Apple, but to me that's more palatable than some other pricing scheme. The point may be made that these are concerts, similar if not more than an album by an artist. There are only a few albums ...

Can you give us a better idea of when this will happen? I know it's still April, but many of us are 'chomping at the bit' to buy these.I'm sure you're doing your best to make this the best possible download possible, but a date would be helpful. Probably though, opening it up without telling anyone would help you adjust whatever you ...

Old Toad:Nobody does! Now, when I get into an argument about the best guitarist ever, I'll just refer the fool I'm arguing with to Wolfgang's Concert Vault and have them listen to Jimi. Too bad they don't have any Buddy Guy to go with him.You might want to refer that person to the Band Of Gypsys December 31, 1969-January 1, 1970!
-
I'll just say that I concur with the above sentiments. The January 1975 concert ''Holy Grail'' is just that. Listening to Peter Gabriel as the singer performing the songs in its original form and not a remastered version is fantastic. Keep up the great work! Looking for more.

When the lossless versions are available, I think the floodgates will open here (I know there will be many, many lossy downloaders). Please make the lossless versions available ASAP. I'll be your best customer!
