Yeah, I agree - there's some good stuff out there post 1970.  Personally, I really enjoy the 1974 stuff with Jellyroll Troy; its pretty wild.  I'm assuming, though, that rumor began to spread that Bloomfield's touch was fading, not sure.  I heard his later years he became very unreliable, therefore, pushing away a lotta people.
