• Re: The Who April 6, 1968 Fillmore East Show

coltom: ''the Who suck'' - wow, you're such a wordsmith. You still angry about the New Kids break-up or was it the recent failed Britney comeback that has you in such a foul mood? If you don't like them - fine, that's your perogative. On the other hand, it is possible to say you don't like them without letting the worldwide web know ...

  • Re: Streaming Interruptions

Aka O Miru:In the last couple of days I've had a lot of random interruptions to streams - sudden bursts of other songs in the middle of a song, usually studio recordings of what sounds like 80's soul. I've had these occur in all of the streams I've been listening to (the Who, Genesis, Peter Gabriel, Blondie, Elton John. etc.) Any ideas why this is

  • Re: Favorite floyd album cover?

Downingcr:The cover of Pink Floyd's Animals is in the movie CHILDREN OF MEN. Watch the movie. It's there. You can't miss it. Seriously. I saw that. Also there's a part where King Crimson is playing at first its like background music then it comes to the forefront. Very nice. That's a great movie.

  • Re: New Fillmore documentary?

This sounds interesting. I would certainly like to watch it. I also wonder if anyone at WV knows anything about it or the release date.

  • Re: Yes - LA Forum 11-26-78

Again, I would like to ring in on the positive side. WV is one of the greatest treasures I have found on the internet. The latest Pink Floyd concert that was just posted is fantastic. Even with the technical flaws, its wonderful to hear these guys when they were still a tight knit group of friends pounding out one of the trade mark sounds of the ...

ruexp70:I happened to catch Hendrix a few months before his passing in Miami, Fla. Wish I could say that I saw stars and stuff, but to tell the truth, he was struggling through the entire set. I knda felt it was the beginnig of the end upon leaving the concert that night...Sorry for the bring-down. Don't feel bad, there's no ...

I will second that request. The minute the two Allman concerts that WV already has posted are available for download, I'm grabbing them.

  • Re: Favorite floyd album cover?

Its hard to say which is my favorite. Animals was great as was Meddle. I also liked Echoes back in the day. All of those old ones were great to see and great just to stare at.

  • Re: Vault Radio "speaker" control shuts down at random sometimes

I have had this happen at times as well. I'm on Win2000. The mute button seems to kick in now and then. Not a big deal, but is a little odd.

  • Re: The Who: Get on with it!

burningedge: Yes, I would love to hear The Who from '76. Also, if you guys have Flower Hour, you should have the one from '73 which would be incredible. Let's get it moving. Do the biggest and best bands first. Its great that this old thread got bumped up. I have to agree with the others here. Please post the big guns ...

  • Re: The one...The Only....ALICE COOPER

I would love to visit his restaurant. If I ever get out that way, I will make sure and stop. His radio show is great. He doesn't play much of his own stuff, he plays what he likes to hear. And yea, his interviews are great. Even if someone doesn't care for his music, they would have to admit he is maybe the most interesting person in Rock.

  • Re: What Performers Are Paid

Thanks for covering all of that. Remember, you will never satisfy everyone %100. Someone will always complain. I think you guys are doing great. As soon as one of my favorite bands comes up, I will be buying it. Again, thanks for what you are doing and what you have done.

  • Re: The one...The Only....ALICE COOPER

Hey, I assume you know Alice has a nationally syndicated radio show every night on radio stations across the country and on the internet? I listen to him on Indy's Q95 web site. I go to their main page and select 'Listen' from the header then select 'Online Stream'.

  • Re: Led Zep 27 April 1969

I wonder if the issues on this thread have anything to do with why no LZ is available for down load yet. I read a report back in December '06 that LZ was resisting WV's attempts at an agreement. Has anyone heard news more recent? Or is my assumption completely off base?

MrPaulCaruso:Actually, we dropped that feature when Concert Vault was launched - it dates back to the original Vault Radio. Should we add it back in? Prior to the creation of 'My PlayList' I depended on the daily playlist heavily to plan what to listen to and what to skip. Since I began using 'My Playlist', I don't think I have listened to ...
