I recently decided to listen to a band that I had pretty much ignored throughout the 60s, 70s and 80s to see if I could understand what the fuss was all about. So I went out and bought a copy of ***'s Picks, Volume 4 which was rated as one of the best Dead concerts of all time. Ohmigod! I could barely listen to it. Long, awful, out of tune solos ...

There's the show from the Fillmore West on August 3, 1970 that is available on a number of sites. I'm not sure if the folks at Wolfgang's Vault have access to this one.

Fantastic job, folks! It's great to hear this wonderful music from some of my favourite performers. You can't please all of the people all of the time, so keep uploading any and all concerts from the vault.
