I agree, let's have a show uploaded from the Animals tour! I really enjoy listening to the recordings from this tour. It would be good to have something from the previous tour featuring Raving and Drooling and You've Got to be Crazy.
Syd Barret era material is good too!

I think of Bonzo as more of the foundation of the band; if anyone is the ''glue'' it is Jonesy who held everything together with his stonking bass lines!

Yes, bring it on!

Ian Gillan has only himself to blame regarding the final mix of the Born Again album: he did not get involved. It is not the only time he has done this, either! I do not know the exact chronology of the mix of the album - but the story goes that Geezer was the last one to get his hands on it.
I agree regarding the album; I do ...

Ian Gillan's decision to join Black Sabbath had more to do with a large quantity of alcohol that he had consumed than anything else I believe...
Few people would claim that it was a high point in Either Sabbath's or Gillan's careers, but an interesting one none the less.

From memory (I have not checked the details, so correct me anyone who knows better) Black Sabbath did a full US tour, together with Stonehenge-like set (which was abandoned part way through because it was such a pain) and one UK date, though I forget the venue (possibly the Bath festival?).
I know the UK date was recorded properly and Tony

Elvis did indeed invite members of Zep to see him. He and John Paul Jones exchanged watches. If memory serves, JPJ made a return visit, too.

I have been trying to track down a live recording of the Sabs when Ian Gillan was the singer. Do you have any concerts from this period in the band's history tucked away in your vaults?

Robert Plant's vocals are unreal! I cant believe the innovation of Page. Zep at their finest.
just seeing if this post gets noticed and deleted or re-posted in a different forum
You forgot to mention the rhythm section! Powerhouse drummer (rock's finest) and a bassist so talented it is obscene!

MrPaulCaruso:
You've got to open this one up - please!
Thanks, PC
How about all of the sets from all of the shows from the period? Not that I am greedy or anything.
Is the show from 4th September 1970 at the Forum, Inglewood, LA in the vaults? In fact any show from the Forum? One of the ...

The Yardbirds would be great regardless of the line up. A live recording of the Beck/Page line up would be superb but I could make do with either one of them.

Please upload a Mac show featuring ''Eric Clapton's replacement'' soon! Peter Green's Fleetwood Mac is my favourite version of the band and I cannot get enough.

Yes please more Pink Floyd! Let's here some live versions of Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here and Animals.

Got your attention didn’t I? Thems are fightin words. It’s all opinion anyway isn’t it?
I’ve been listening to these recordings, trying once again to figure out what everyone sees/saw in this band. All I can find is white boy guitar wanking and strangled cat screeching.
If Jimmy Page played as off key and out of control as Robert ...
