    There ya go. Right handed strat swung around (upside down) to play it lefty. What you can't see from the picture is that the strings are strung upside down so that low E is still on top.

  • Trying to post Machine Gun video

    I'm trying to post a link to the video of Hendrix/Band of Gypsys playing Machine Gun at the Fillmore East, New Years Eve 1969, but nothing happens. Is that working yet or is the submit button currently deactivated?

    I think you took the brown acid. He played a right handed guitar and strung it upside down so that he could play lefty, flipping the guitar upside down. If you'll notice, the short ''horn'' of the Strat is on top when he played it.

    In the past few years I've come across video gems I never knew existed, such as the actual video of Hendrix/Band of Gypsys performing ''Machine Gun'' New Years Eve 69 at the Fillmore East. But I've been hoping against hope that somewhere, somehow, maybe, possibly, someone filmed or videotaped Cream playing the Wheels of Fire version of ...
