Chris89:please create a forum for santana. They were and i guess still are a great band and Carlos Santana is a truly gifted guitarist. Plus Bill Graham managed them. please give them a forumDon't hold your breath. I don't think they've added a new performer forum in a year or more.

jjdon: Suggestion: It would be nice to have a ''New Concerts Added'' link that's prominent and works. Have to sift through the whole list periodically.......On the main Concert Vault page, at the top right of the ''Featured Concerts'' frame is ''Browse More New Concerts'' which takes you to a page with the 50 most recently added ...

Bluelmore:The bass for the two Van Zant concerts was actually played by my good friend and current bandmate Dan Clausman , referred to as ''Danny'' by Johnny on the concert recordings . He is a succesful businessman in Northwest Florida but still gets his chops in with our local band, The BluesCrabs. I hope you can correct this ...

smashley1968:thanks Mr Mushroom. why do you say it seems more likely these old shows wont be available for download? That's only my opinion based on observation. It's been over 9 months since the Vault started making downloads available. If you go to the downloads page and sort by ''Date (oldest)'', you'll see that the earliest concert ...

Thanks so much for making the Leo Kottke show available! I've been blown away by that concert ever since the original Vault Raido started playing tracks from it in late April '06. The only thing that could be better is if it were available for download.

  • Re: Forwarding shows

Ok, I've never used the ''tell a friend'' feature, but I just checked that out. You can paste the URL into the ''message'' section of the tell a friend form, and your friend can use that to link to the detail page.

Teenonator:I always forwarded it from the player, but I just now tried forwarding it from the detail page: A window pops up asking for email addresses, my name, & a message body. I went to the address I sent it to, which has 4 clickable links: my name which links to my email, and 2 The Concert Vault links, which link to ...

Here is a sample of my wish list:[Edited out by author...] Now I know that I may not have been good enough this year to get many, but even one would make me the happiest kid on the block this Christmas!

Well, I guess I'm about to give up. It's been 6 months that CV has been offering downloads, and there still isn't one available from the early BG archives. That's the music that drew me here in early March 2006. No explaination as to why offering these is a problem, no hint as to when (if ever) these might be available. I ...

Mr. Mushroom:Wow, no new downloads this week? That comment is no longer true, but as I can't delete that post, I'll just say that this is the first time I remember that shows became available for download after they were added to the Vault.(Yeah, I know, if I weren't so darn impatient...)

Stranger:On reflection, elsewhere in the buyable range The Iggy ones are, and I think the Todd Rundgren 1978 one might have been a radio show. My point? Aside from the request to make more shows available as lossless (buyable) downloads, if (for now) you can only do one or the other (lossless buyable, or free listen only, lossy mp3), please add ...

You know, we probably should let this discussion get back to Shakti.(Do you think that if John McLaughlin and L. Shankar had teamed up with Peter Gabriel, they would have written a song called ''Shakti Monkey''?)
