    Streaming Halts

In the past couple of weeks it has been nearly impossible to get through an entire concert without the stream halting, with the counter at 0:00.  Once it sticks there it never re-starts.  Other streaming sites and youtube are OK -- right now I'm streaming the canned music from thedoors.com with no problems.  I think I have done everything that's been suggested in these forums, i.e. updated audio drivers, cleared cache, turned off windows firewall, closed all other programs.  I tried IE, in case it's a Firefox problem.

The debug info is pasted below.  This session is taken from my office PC, which is behind a corporate firewall, but I get the same sort of behavior at home (I just learned the existence of the debug screen today, and have not tried it at home yet).  But again, other streaming sources are working fine right now.

That said, I *love* the site, and am thankful for your efforts and hard work.

    Re: Streaming Halts

    Hi,

We did have intermittent streaming problems over the last week, but as of Wednesday morning they were resolved.  By the looks of your log here this was after Wednesday morning.

I'll forward this to our engineers & ask them to take a look.

    cheers - mr. pc

    Re: Streaming Halts

Streaming got considerably better the day after I posted this, even though I didn't change anything.  Some days I still get occasional 1-2 second gaps, but at least it isn't dropping out for so long that the stream terminates.

Now that I see a bit more what's going on, would it help to forward the ports that the player uses: 1935, 443, etc.?

    Thanks

    Re: Streaming Halts

    Hi,

Sorry it's taken us a while to repost.  We did check everything out, and we can find no problems in our network.  Do you still have this problem?

    Apologies - Mr. PC
