    Fleetwood Mac Record Plant 1974

I was fortunate to grow up in the S.F. Bay Area and practicaly lived at Winterland in the 70's. I remember when Fleetwood Mac with Bob Welch played there and while they where in S.F. went to the Record Plant to record a show for the KSAN live from the record plant series. I recorded it on cassette from the radio and it was a treasured recording of mine for years till the tape was no more. Thank you for putting it up for download. I have thought about this recording many times over the years and it was my favorite post Peter Green recording of Fleetwood Mac. I finaly get to play it on the air on my Saturday afternoon radio show Joe's Roadhouse on KPFT 90.1 in Houston TX..

Now if you could only get the Nils Lofgren recording from the Record Plant done for KSAN as well. It is the best recording of Nils there is far better than the double live album his label put out.

Over the years Bill Graham has become a role model for me largley for his exposing young white kids like I was back then to the real Blues Men he put on the bills with the rock bands of the day.

I'll never forget B.B. King and Freddie King jamming till they shut the amps down in mid performance at 2:00 A.M. due to a city ordinance which forbade live music after 2 in the morning.

Read "My Life Inside and Out Of Rock and Roll" the Bill Graham autobiography. A fascinating read.

Thanks Bill! You gave me the best education of my life.

The Nils Lofgren show has been posted to Wolfgang's Vault....this is also available in a cd version at Nils Lofgren's website under the title "Bootleg," and the Hip-O-Select record label has issued with a different cover as a limited edition of 3,000 copies.  Both of these version are the edited version of the show....the one on Wolfgang's Vault, though, has an additional song ("Rock and Roll Crook") that was not included in the original broadcast, or the A&M promo album.
