I play concerts in the background when doing email and surfing with OE6 and IE7.  Both the OE6 and IE7 windows hang sometimes and I have to kill them.  I got rid of a year's worth of old email and compressed.  I deleted all my temporary internet files and reduced the space to 50MB (suggested by MS at the OE6 forum)  Nothing helped.  Is there something strange that the Flash player does at the Concert Vault that could be causing OE6 and IE7 to hang?  Thanks, I don't want to give up listening to the great music.

That's a new one to us.  Are you running Flash Version 9?  When your windows hang, how long have you been listening?

Thanks Mr. PC.  The problem originally occurred after several hours of listening.  Then I added more RAM to my system and it would only take a half hour.  I have the latest greatest flash version.

This morning, for the first time ever, Outlook hung without a concert playing so you guys are innocent. I have tested for viruses, spyware, run RAM diagnostics etc.  Well back to the MS forum or time to try Thunderbird.  I did read about a problem with hidden temporary internet files.  The flash player doesn't do that, does it?  I have had trouble with extended pause not working.  I have to click on play and pause several times sometiimes.

We DO have an occasional problem with extended pause, we're working on it.  When in doubt, close the player & open it again.
