    Mahogany Rush - Winterland, S.F. '77 & '78 shows.

Had the fortune to see Frank Marino & Mahogany Rush at Winterland, back in August of '77 & March of '78.  Both shows were amazing, but the 1978 show still stands as my all time favorite show that Frank Marino ever did.  For those that were at the '78 concert know that the two opening bands Wet Willie & No Dice, were booed off the stage in twenty minutes, put together!  Frank wasn't suppose to come on till 11 p.m.  Instead he came on an hour earlier, and played from 10 p.m. till 1:45 a.m.!  When the house lights & music came on...all of us were stomping the floor and screaming for more, hence that Frank came back out saying, "you guys are too much," in which he did 3 more songs for the third and final oncore.  This was also the night before he went down to L.A., to play at the Cal Jam II festival.  It would be great to get more of the fans that saw these shows, requesting this legendary show to be uploaded on the concert vault!
