First time I saw Springsteen was in '75 when he came over the pond to play at Hammersmith.  I didn't see that show, but the week he was there he showed up at a pub I was at one night.  He came in with just his Telecaster and Clarence and blew my mind.  I thought that was the best performance I had ever seen until listening to this Winterland show.  He should really look into putting this on CD, or even video.  I know that he put the Hammersmith show on video
