    More Genesis?

    Hello!

Fantastic site... I've been listening to the two Genesis concerts that you have up for streaming, and they're both phenomenal.  An added bonus is that they are from two distinct eras of the band's history, making them both unique from each other!  I was wondering if there were any plans to include more Genesis concerts in the future.  I look forward to purchasing these in the future when (if?) you decide to put these up for sale.

    Re: More Genesis?

I second that!  Genesis played some amazing concerts throughout their whole career and played a diverse range of music.  It would be great to see some more up there.  Thanks for an awesome site!

    Re: More Genesis?

Just some of the delights which reside in the King Biscuit vaults:

    10-jun-76 Hammersmith Odeon, London

    02-jan-77 Rainbow Theatre, London

    27-nov-83 Philadelphia Spectrum

Would really love to hear them - FULL SHOWS PLEASE

And thanks for the two streamed so far.

Oh one more thing, did Bill Graham make a video of the Berkeley 22-jan-75 show???  We really need to know!

    Re: More Genesis?

I second the question about the video of Berkeley 75. That would be very prized, to say the least.

    Re: More Genesis?

Genesis is the band I signed up last night to check for, only to find that there were only post-Peter Gabriel shows....Until today! Thanks for posting the Lamb...But I see there is still a general focus on the Phil Collins era (picture of him as THE Genesis picture?) Please give us more Peter era, the truly classic stuff.

    Re: More Genesis?

Thanks for the PHENOMENAL Genesis "Lamb" concert, you're so right about this being a holy grail realized.  The Genesis community is incredibly excited about the streams you've provided.  Genesis management have been tantalizing fans with the proposition of Archive releases for ages, but as the years roll on they sound like empty words.  Wolfgang's Vault with its pioneering efforts have delivered so much more in a short space of time.

So dare I ask what next?

We know that the first Genesis Live album from the foxtrot tour was compiled from a couple of shows recorded by King Biscuit at Manchester and Leicester UK.  Chances are that the full unedited, undubbed shows are now lying dormant in your archive.  Please dig them out, dust them off and let the world hear the power and the glory of more early Genesis!

    Re: More Genesis?

I'll just say that I concur with the above sentiments.  The January 1975 concert "Holy Grail" is just that.  Listening to Peter Gabriel as the singer performing the songs in its original form and not a remastered version is fantastic.  Keep up the great work!  Looking for more.

    Hello Genesis folk

Am I missing something, I am new here, but there is a released CD of Lamb.  I may have missed tht you all have discussed it. If not I'll provide details. Its excellent.  I was fortunate to see the show in 1975.  And the band in the eralier days, 1970, 71 etc.  Lucky boy.  Anyway I'll post the CD information if it will help anyone.

    Re: More Genesis?

Not only can I not spell, my recollection of the CD was off.  What I thought was live is simply a remastered release.  It was the pictures from the concert that threw me.
