    A few suggestions

It's always hard to figure out whether the concerts were as great as I remembered or whether it was the moment.  Thanks Vault team for putting this together and letting us relive some of these.

A few suggestions from concerts I recall as being great (though would love to listen again):
    Late 70's:
Jethro Tull - Songs from the Wood tour
    Pink Floyd - Animals tour
The Who - Who Are You tour (1st with Kenny Jones - MSG show was great)
More Zappa & the Mothers - early and late 70's (I know you have one from 1970 but one is not nearly enough)
    Velvet Underground/Lou Reed
    Parliament /Funkadelic

    Early 80s:
Talking Heads - 1983 (I saw them at Forest Hills Tennis Stadium)
    Pretenders (Learning to Crawl tour)

    Keep up the great work!

    Re: A few suggestions

I would like to add the Australian band Cold Chisel, especially their "Last Stand" concert at the Horden Pavillion in Sydney. The 13 minutes of 'Wild Thing" makes the whole show.

    Re: A few suggestions

I think this is a great thread, but sence it is more of a suguestion for us rather tne a request for a performer forum I am going to move this thread into the off-topic forum.
Hope that is OK with you.

Thanks for the kind words also! And I agree - I can't wait for some Velvet Undergound to show up here in the Concert Vault.

    Re: A few suggestions

ha! Love your sign-off, Mr Roboto. My suggestion has to do with the posters section of Wolfgang's Vault. I looked around for a good forum spot, and figured this as good as any.

Let me use Flock of Seagulls as an example. When I clicked on the WV icon, one poster showed up "displaying 1 of 1 items"  - a 1983 concert. Looking at the poster it wasn't clear to me: was the 1983 poster shown the only one of its kind (ie, "1 of 1")? Or are there more than one quantity, all with that same picture?

Thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

For doing the jobs that nobody wants to

And thank you very much, Mr. Roboto

For helping me escape just when I needed to

    Re: A few suggestions

I thought I'd put my two cents worth in on performers I'd like to here in the concert vault (in no particular order:

    Buffalo Springfield
    Julie Driscoll
    Ten Wheel Drive
    Circus Maximus
    The Nice
    Mose Allison
    Savoy Brown

(By the way, does Wolfgang's Vault have recordings of all the performers listed in the "All Performers" list one can get to from the WV home page?)

Random comments (you can skip this part)

Julie Driscoll recorded an incredible version of Season of the Witch (in the mid to late 60's I'm guessing.

Living in the midwest my whole life I never went to either of the Filmores but I did get to hear Ten Wheel Drive at the old Olympia, former home of the Red Wings, in Detroit.  Great seats about 10 rows from the stage, but it did get a bit cold after a while with chairs on whatever they had covering the ice.

There used to be some good tunes by the Nice on Vault Radio when it was in it's original incarnation.  I hope they'll show up in the Concert Vault some day.
