    Re: the pretty things

"Parachute" is a CLASSIC record and without a doubt the greatest album that "noone" ever heard of - I was "there" iin the 60s so I have lots to comppare against and I can state without any hesitation that the pretty things "parachute" album is one of the top 20 albums of all time.  OUTSTANDING - not only the musicianship, the vocals, the variety, the soul...but the originality.  Often now copies but never reproduced.  They stand alone on this record - hell - they couldn't even do it again or anythiung comparable even themselves!  sf sorrow tries but no cigar.    lalzee

    Re: the pretty things

Couldnt agree more. Im 37 and discovered Parachute about 5 years ago. I put in in my top 10-20 albums of all time. When people even know who the Pretty Things are, you always hear about S.F Sorrow. This album is so much better. It takes Abbey Road as a starting point, and goes off in a million directions from there. Bad ass like only the Pretty Things were.
