Hi

I've downloaded CVDM and 2 concerts but when I try to open CVDM I get the Windows Error message that CVDM has encountered a problem and needs to close.

Hi, I have the same problem, downloaded the new download manager on Monday evening and immediately got the Windows Error message saying that CVDM.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and rebooting but still same problem. If two of us have the same problem it sounds as if the problem is with CVDM and not out individual computers. Could someone from Wolfgangs Vault please investigate.

I realise that I may not have posted all the required info about my PC so in anticipation that some kind soul can help, I'm using Windows XP and IE v 7.0

5/23 - I made the mistake of trying to upgrade to the new dlm and had the same problem with

vista and explorer 7.0. Did anybody successfully correct this problem....HELP

I e-mailed customer support direct and got the following response.

"Try updating your PC’s Java installation to the latest revision.  You can get it at http://www.java.com/getjava/

Let us know if that doesn’t help.

That cured the problem for me so it may do the same for you.  Thanks to Matt for his help.
