I would like to stream these concerts from my computer thru itunes into air express and into my home stereo the way I can songs from an itunes playlist.  is that possible?

Not without hijacking the audio (using Rogue Amoeba's AudioHijack, for instance), then saving it to MP3s or AACs. But I'm sure that that violates the user agreement somehow.

Unfortunately, no. Apple only supports sending an AirTunes stream to AirPort Express via iTunes 4.6 or later.

And yes, you are correct, recording our stream violates our user agreemet - and it also prevents us from paying the artists (to do so accurately we report every listen of every track in every concert).

Paul -- Any chance of you guys being able to work out a deal to distribute the content through Apple so we can get this amazing content on local storage for playback through stereo systems.

You might want to look at how Archive.org is doing it.  They have a flash player for streaming, but also have a link that you can use to send metadata into iTunes for streaming.

I agree that it sure would be great to be able to Airport Express these tunes all over my house!

Its been a while since an update was posted on this issue. Is there any way to get this site to play through iTunes and Airport so I can listen through my home stereo? Would be a great feature.

Use RoguaAmoeba's AirFoil. Essentially it allows you to stream anything from your computer to the AirPort Express. Best $25 I ever spent.
