Jack Bruce & Friends with Larry Coryell, Mike Mandell and Mitch Mitchell

Any chance you could check the Vault and see if you have any of the following shows on tape:

Jack Bruce & Friends with Larry Coryell, Mike Mandell and Mitch Mitchell

01/30/70 - 'Fillmore East' New York, New York (2 shows)

01/31/70 - 'Fillmore East' New York, New York (2 shows)

02/26/70 - 'Fillmore West' San Francisco, California
    - 02/27/70 - 'Winterland' San Francisco, California
    - 02/28/70 - 'Winterland' San Francisco, California
    - 03/01/70 - 'Fillmore West' San Francisco, California

With the recent passing of Mitch Mitchell, this would be a great addition to his already amazing legacy. It would also be a great way to pay tribute to this all but forgotten super group that toured the USA between January and March of 1970.

Description I was going to wait a bit longer than this to post this remaster of a fine post by olvator, but
I just heard on the radio that Mitch Mitchell passed away. I know we can't always believe everything we hear on the radio. I hoped it was just a rumor. sadly, it's not, so R.I.P. Mitch Mitchell. I had no idea of anything like this happening to him so soon, he will be missed sorely. A very good drummer, here with a very good band (that may be an understatement.)
this was kindly posted by olvator on Nov. 2, 2008
    at torrent #221105.
as it said in the info file, this needed re-tracking,
since every track break was in the middle of a song.
Other than that this was a very nice post, thus
I have re-tracked this so every track is at the
beginning of each song (no additional tracks were made,
I checked to see if the old edits left noises, they didn't)
and adjusted the levels of some tracks so now the levels
are consistent and balanced. some of them were a little
uneven before. I also removed a short gap between tracks
5 and 6 for a tape flip, (that was the only interruption
of the recording I found in here), added a fadeout at end
of last track (during applause), and removed some of the
silence before track 1 and after track 7.
nothing else was edited out of this. I reduced a
couple of mike knocks so not to drown out the music.
(also corrected spelling of "Coryell' and Mandel".)
This is a nice recording, maybe the best one around
of this very good band, and sounds alot better than
the previously circulating version I had. Now it
sounds a little bit better still, and since I've
re-tracked all the tracks, I've included the total
runtime as well as track times for this remaster.
(I like to do that with all my posts anyway, whether
    they've been remastered or not.)
Jack Bruce - voc / bass
    Larry Coryell - guitar
    Mike Mandel - organ
    Mitch Mitchell - drums
