    How about some Free???

Would love to see any recordings by Free added on to the list of concerts. They were not around for that long but while they were they toured quite extensively around the world and in the US. They played the Fillmores a few times that I know of....any chance they were recorded. Koss was one of my favorite guitarists (next to the late Syd Barrett), very emotional and expressive player....would love to hear how they sounded live. The one album (Free Live) was not a very good recording and little else beyond their BBC Sessions has ever seen the light of day.

Great shout! Free were a fantastic band and I would dearly love to hear more of their stuff.

Free were the band I saw the most times live. Must have seen them ten or eleven times around the North West of England. They were a great live band - Simon K really worked up a sweat behind his kit,  Andy F just rocked back and forth on his two stiffened legs and Koss's face showed the complete range of emotions with every note.  But I was there for Paul Rodgers - I was a small time rock singer at the time and I wanted to be Paul Rodgers - the best Blues/Rock Singer of his generation IMHO.

I hope Wolfgang does get a recording of the lads on a good day, one of these days. Isn't this a great site?  How long before the unfeeling barons of the music industry shut it down, I wonder.
