    When I saw him

I saw him in 1979 while stationed in Germany. He was part of one of the better shows I saw there. It was at a soccer stadium that I don't remember the name of. The first performer up was Don Mclean, followed by The Little River Band, then Bob Marley and the show was closed out by Fleetwood Mac.  Great day!!

you probably mean the show in Kaiserslautern on June 8, 1980, at the Betzenberg-Stadion. there is an incomplete audience recording circulating.

Petition for no more Bob Marley

    Hi!

Since 2001 I'm among the fans worldwide who have been going through attacks and threats in their private lives about Bob Marley. It's supposed to be now 27 years since he has passed away and the only thing you can see everywhere around the world is posters, tee-shirts, documentaries and videos of his to make money off him. Nowhere you see till now one single movie, film, filming, pic, picture about his, life, death, story, nor career.
What is the fucking problem with this world who needs so much a stray Bob Marley in their heads instead the real one?
Where is a film or the announcement of it on TV like for other big names without being lastingly punished by an everlasting public, lovers and fanatics network?

If even as the main suspect of a so sordid affair that I'm sure to be an again goner I don't hear about the announcement on TV of the filming of his dam***** f**** life and importance on earth even as a guitarist in the next two months, for me that guy is over!!!!!!!forever.....

    Re: When I saw him

Was it in Kaiserslautern at Betzenberg stadium perhaps?  Trying to piece together that concert myself..... there was an old naked guy that was dancing on stage.  It was an open air concert - started around 12 noon and I remember the sun going down when Fleetwood Mac was playing...
