That's right brother I am glad you agree. This site put up all these New Years recordings, but yet they seem to forget Journey played New Years in San Fran at Bill Graham venues between 1973-1977 every year and they were all recorded, the 12-31-76 show at the Cow Palace in my opinion being the most incredible. As well there are more SBD or FM's of the early Journey lineup. Cmon mods get to work! I guess they seem to think Billy Idol is better musicianship then the early Journey of fusion/jazz/rock preportions. It is quite sad.

I've searched around the forum but can't find these secret clues to where these shows are.  I take it they have already been pulled off here?  I have a couple of ooollllldddd worn out cassettes of these New Years Eve shows and they were indeed excellent.  I've been trying to replace these with quality ones for years but always seem to be two steps behind....  Two years ago I purchased a sealed LP of Monitro Studios but there are some imperfections in the record pressing.   Again it has left me still in search of the shows.

yes, PLEASE put some live recordings of the original Journey line-up.  I attended their first show at Winterland on mid-1970's New Year's Eve and I've wanted to listen to that again ever since.  I check with every email I receive and it's never on the list.  :-(

Wow! they finally put only ONE early Journey show up.

However in the Graham archives and what is hitting the bootleg rounds for years, is New years at winterland 73 which was their very first gig ever, cow palace new years 76 (gee with those new years shows they threw up they neglected to mention Journey played New years for Bill Graham like 5 years in a row), also seattle 1977, columbia studios 1974 as well as at the record plant in 1974.
