Did any of you guys see this one? What a show!!The place was only about half-full and the opening  act was Flo & Eddie (former Turtles blah,blah). During their opening song Flo (Mark Volman) is hamming it up doing phony guitar-hero poses and literally falls off the front of the stage and cracks his head open.. He doesn't come back until the end of the set with a big old bandage wrapped around his head!!Bowie and the Spiders came out while a strobe light it up the stage..they all had glittery stage clothes and it was quite effective..The show was fabulous..

Since Winterland was a Bill Graham connected venue, any chance this gig was recorded?

Something tell me it wouldn't have been, since Bowie or more like DeFries would have prevented it, but it would be fascinating to hear if it was...
