Fantastic site... I've been listening to the two Genesis concerts that you have up for streaming, and they're both phenomenal. An added bonus is that they are from two distinct eras of the band's history, making them both unique from each other! I was wondering if there were any plans to include more Genesis concerts in the future. I look forward to purchasing these in the future when (if?) you decide to put these up for sale.

A BIT ABOUT THE TRESPASS:

Trespass performs the amazing music of "early" Genesis, covering songs from both the Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins eras. Starting with their second record, our namesake "Trespass", and continuing thru Nursery Cryme, Foxtrot, Selling England By The Pound, The Lamb Lies Down on Broadway, A Trick of a Tale, and Wind & Wuthering to date. We are also planning the addition of material from And Then There Were Three, Duke and maybe even a smidge of Abacab..

With so much great music to choose from it's a veritable (yet wonderful) "arm wrestling match" in deciding song inclusion for our shows. We drink from a deep pool of great songs spread over almost a decade of Genesis' finest music. We are not tied to presenting only a fixed "tour", a single snapshot in time, rather we offer a wide range of their best musical compositions, including songs never performed live by Genesis, and all in one seating. So indeed "Supper's Ready" and it is a sumptuous feast of music for your enjoyment. Think of Peter Gabriel and Phil Collins appearing again together in a single concert and both singing "their tunes". With a thoughtful selection of music and the accompanying Characters/Theatrics of Peter Gabriel's advant garde presentations, to the polish of Phil Collins era shows (think BIG LIGHTS ala AFTERGLOW), Trespass provides a musical summation of the best of the best of Genesis, all in one night, for your pleasure, and in celebration of this great music.

I am the lead singer of a Genesis Tribute Band called Trespass located in the Philadelphia Pensylvania USA area. We do a show that is not quite as precise as the Musical Box does but I would venture to say is a little closer to the real thing than most of the other tribute bands i have seen clips of. We have a show coming up this Friday March 23rd at the Colonial Theatre in Phoenixville Pennsylvania if anyone is in the area i invite you to come to the show, we recently added a rather lengthy tune having to do with a certain mealtime (wink-wink) complete with crazy costumes, makeup and all that 70's glittery fun. Many thanks for the excellent Shrine Auditorium Lamb show, until now we'd only been able to speculate that the master resided in the King Biscuit vaults. This really is a HUGE bonus to Genesis fans everywhere - kudos once more to the mighty wolfgangsvault!

Some corrections you might want to incorporate in the accompanying details:

1. This isn't the only professional recording of the Lamb tour as the BBC have a multitrack recording of the 70 mins they broadcast. However your Shrine show may well be the only surviving FULL proffessional recording.

2. Phil Collins wasn't really "waiting in the wings" for Peter Gabriel to leave; they planned on recruiting a new singer and the idea of Phil taking the reigns only germinated after they'd failed to find someone else suitable. Maybe also consider replacing the picture of Phil Collins as front man with an image of Peter Gabriel - it was his concept and his swan song with Genesis.

3. The text seems to suggest that The Musical Box is the only encore whereas it is the 2nd encore, the first being Watcher Of The Skies from their Foxtrot album.
