much sought after kiss winterland shows are in the bill graham archive, if you guys could get them. there's the winterland show from 1-31-75 that has been bootlegged for years and was recently released on the kissology boxed set, but of course, there's 2 others that no fan has ever seen and would be a goldmine for collectors. in addition it is rumored they played some very obscure songs at these shows. is there any plans whatsoever to work as hard as possible to get these to the public's eyes and ears? there should be. they're important documents.

KISS -Winterland Ballroom - June 1, 1974 (first tour. possibly Kissin Time was performed)
KISS - Winterland Ballroom - June 1, 1975 (drressed to kill tour. possibly Rock Bottom and/or Room Service were performed)

They exist in the archive. When will they be let out?!!?

I tried starting a thread over in 'Concerts' for KISS but I guess this would be the more appropriate place...any information on any of the following Bay Area KISS shows would be much appreciated...

Winterland 6/1/74 (tapes supposedly destroyed in a fire...but I think it still exists)
Winerland 6/1/75 (tapes supposedly destroyed in a fire...but I think it still exists)
Oakland Coliseum 8/22/76
Cow Palace SF 8/16/77
Cow Palace SF 11/25/79 (very first concert I ever attended...)

just fuckin' kids, saw KISS in their first year at Western Ky. University in a 2,000 seat theatre, almost burnt the place down. After that, no more rock shows in said theatre. Same year saw iggy and the stooges at mother's music emporium in Nashville, Tn. and the infamous Hawkwind a week later. It was a goddamn gutted grocery store, with a stage on one side. kidkinzel

Another intern at fontana told me that this new band, Mink just finished up touring with KISS this summer. Apparently they sound very similar. I went to their myspace and listened to "Talk To Me" and I can hear it. I will post a video of both of them playing together.
