Chicago's Terry Kath/Petition

Terry Kath, co-founding member of Chicago Transit Authority as well as the original lead guitarist, lead vocalist and one of the song-writers is NOT listed among his high school's (Taft High School/Chicago, IL) honored graduates. The alumni officers are split between those who want him inducted into the school's hall of fame and a few who are against it. Those against it cite two reasons: a) he is no longer living and b) his lifestyle and manner of death are not positive role models for their current students.

Both reasons are ridiculous! A petition was started to show the impact Terry's music continues to have today. Sign it and show your support prior to the next alumni board meeting (Thurs. Nov. 20):

It has already made a difference as students and teachers have learned that Terry went to Taft. Most are amazed and supportive of his induction.

In your notes about the Chicago show for King Biscuit you state that Terry Kath's death may have been due to a game of Russian Roulette gone horribly wrong. That statement is horribly wrong. No one ever made such a claim. All those who were interviewed clearly stated that the man, not playing a game with anyone, put the gun to his head claiming it was not loaded and pulled the trigger. Get your fucken facts straight or don't write anything at all.

Great, great changes to the site. But what happened to Chicago Transit Authority? No concerts listed for them now. Are you still in the process of converting everything over to the new format? Thanks.

Volume level error on Chicago IV remastering?

I have just listened to this great album via MP3. But I have noticed something peculiar about the volume levels between some of the tracks (which for the most part flow from one to the other.) Specifically the transition between tracks 3 & 4 (intro to, and then the song proper, "Does Anybody Know What Time It Is?"), and tracks 27 & 28 ("Colour My World" & "To Be Free"). I could see the former example as possibly being different performances, but I just can't see how in the world the latter could have been stiched together, since they are from the same suite, "Ballet for a Girl in Buchanon". I would expect much more from the folks at Rhino!

I know there must be someone on this forum who has this remastered CD, who could listen to it and tell me if this is the case, or if I somehow got a freaky MP3.
