After Wet Willie got bood off Bill Graham gave the crowd a stern lecture about how un-cool that was. I do remember Frank playing for a long and amazing time. '77 &amp;amp; '78 shows.</title><link>http://forums.wolfgangsvault.com/forums/thread/7530.aspx</link><pubDate>Fri, 09 Feb 2007 03:24:42 GMT</pubDate><guid isPermaLink="false">0e5cae14-4d31-4649-9ae0-9c4cae6cf3ca:7530</guid><dc:creator>daniel7</dc:creator><slash:comments>0</slash:comments><comments>http://forums.wolfgangsvault.com/forums/thread/7530.aspx</comments><wfw:commentRss>http://forums.wolfgangsvault.com/forums/commentrss.aspx?SectionID=16&amp;PostID=7530</wfw:commentRss><description>Had the fortune to see Frank Marino &amp;amp;&amp;nbsp;Mahogany Rush at Winterland, back in August&amp;nbsp;of '77 &amp;amp; March of&amp;nbsp;'78.&amp;nbsp; Both shows were amazing, but the 1978 show still stands as my all time favorite show that Frank Marino&amp;nbsp;ever did.&amp;nbsp; For those that were at the '78&amp;nbsp;concert know that the two opening bands Wet Willie &amp;amp; No Dice, were booed off the stage in twenty minutes, put together!&amp;nbsp; Frank wasn't suppose to come on till 11 p.m.&amp;nbsp; Instead he came on an hour earlier, and played from 10 p.m. till 1:45 a.m.!&amp;nbsp; When the house lights &amp;amp; music came on...all of us were stomping the floor and screaming for more, hence that&amp;nbsp;Frank&amp;nbsp;came back out saying, "you guys are too much,"&amp;nbsp;in which he did 3 more songs for the third and final oncore. &amp;nbsp;This was also the night before he went down to L.A., to play&amp;nbsp;at the Cal Jam II festival.&amp;nbsp; It would be great to get more of the fans that saw these shows, requesting&amp;nbsp;this&amp;nbsp;legendary show&amp;nbsp;to be uploaded&amp;nbsp;on the concert vault!&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;</description></item></channel></rss>
