I found some great vintage video stuff of the Oaks over on youtube. The concerts are broken in to 7 parts or so, and were recorded in the early 80's.

I must say the audio recordings at Wolfgangs Vault are of excellent quality. Very happy with what I've heard so far.

I want to see some Willie Nelson. I just got an advance of his new box set "One Hell of a Ride" and talk about some cool stuff. Can't believe you don't have some of his old stuff I'm hearing on this cd.

I totally agree........More King George. I would love to have the Saugus concert. His voice is just awesome. I'd buy it in a minute. Like I said.....more King George.

This is real country music, a lot better than what's being played today. The George Strait concert in Saugus is remarkable. Keith Whitley & Barbara Mandrell would both be great additions to this vault. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I just want to thanks for this great music...i actually taped most of these shows off radio in the 70's and 80's and still have them...but this is great....any keith whitley, gene watson, buck owens, the jerry lee lewis show, heck i could go on forever. thanks

Hi Doug - yes, we will be updating the CMV weekly. The number of shows will vary, but we will always include at least two new concerts each week.

Hi. The Marshall Tucker Band, while having country influences, is not considered a country band but along with The Allman Brothers and Lynyrd Skynyrd, is very much responsible for there being a southern rock genre in the first place. They are most certainly currently located in the wrong vault.

Point well taken. We discussed this a lot at the Vault before opening CMV. You could also make a case that The Charlie Daniels Band does not belong in the CMV either. We elected to include both because their entire body does reflect more "country" influence than the Allmans and Skynyrd.
