Re: Re:Everybody Wants Some I Want Some Too!!!!!!

As a further update to the requests before, I'd like to add -

Iggy Pop did a gig at Chicago The Metro in 1988. I believe it was recorded for FM radio, I can't find any data on when it was broadcast but the fact it circulates suggests it was broadcast, or at least recorded for radio (it sounds recorded for that purpose rather than a straight mixing desk gig where the audience is often relatively silent).

The Iggy Chicago Waves 1.10.80 gig was broadcast on WXRT FM, and the 30.11.79 Los Angeles, Stardust Ballroom was broadcast on KROQ FM.

Robert Palmer's Painter's Hill Music Fair gig (recorded 26.9.80) was broadcast by the Source - part of the NBC network. Having heard rumours about the fortune they apparently wanted for some old Bowie video footage this concert could be out of Wolfgang's reaches, sadly!

I have found that the Robert Palmer gig from the Capital Theatre in Passaic from 1979 was broadcast in part on KBFH, but more of the gig was broadcast on other network - and in a much better mix! One would hope that the complete gig and pre-broadcast tapes (and maybe any alternate mix) would be in the King Biscuit archive that Wolfgang bought...this would make a nice addition to the buyable download range!

Last but not least I would have thought the Pixies Chicago Cabaret Metro show from 1989 was from a radio broadcast (WXRT?), that would be a nice addition here.
