Both Blondie and the Talking Heads did KSAN live broadcasts.  KSAN regularly broadcast live shows from a variety of Bay Area venues, including Winterland, the Boarding House, the Old Waldorf, and Zellerbach Auditorium (the Police show here on WV is the same show KSAN broadcast, I still have my original cassette that I taped back then...).   If WV has access to the KSAN tapes (and I'm pretty sure those Record Plant shows are sourced from the KSAN reels), then there are shows still to come from a wide variety of artists.  There's a George Thorogood from the Boarding  House in '77 that just plain beats his first two studio albums for passion and intensity. 

I know that WXRT in Chicago broadcast a lot of shows.   KMET in Los Angeles did some, too.  KCUV in Denver is currently doing a "Live From Ebbets Field" re-broadcast on Sunday nights, featuring old shows from the 70s....and there were stations in New York, Boston, and Philidelphia that did live broadcasts, too....so somewhere, someone has master reels.
