Does anyone remember Gryphon who played throughout the 1970's.

They were started off as a folky style outfit using a lot of traditional medieval instruments and playing both self-penned music together with traditional northern hemisphere pieces. As time went by they metamorphosed into a more progressive outfit melding their original stuff with typical '70s style progressive. Toured with Yes in the States and in Europe until 1977 when the punk revolution got the better of them. There are rumours of them possibly getting back together in the not too distant future.

Does Wofgang have any of their recorded concerts.

King Biscuit recorded (and broadcast) Gryphon supporting Yes at Boston Gardens 11th December 1974 (set consisting of   Ethelion/Midnight Mushrumps/Sailor's Jig) so that at least should be in the vaults.  Would really love to see the Yes set streamed too especially with the as yet unbroadcast  epic "Ritual".  But Yes from the 1977 tour would be the crowning glory.
