Re: The worst singer and the most overrated band in the history of rock

Wow...that was the most eloquent and accurate [and kind] rebuttal/correction I've ever seen...great writing...anyway, I had to respond, seeing as how you mentioned Elvis Costello, Hot Tuna, Jeff Beck's 'Beck-ola' and that your first album was Beatles Second Album....which was an album I could sing along with when I was three--(the Beatles being the reason I play guitar and love quality music so much)...and that you mention all those great authentic blues songs that Hot Tuna and even Electric Flag did[!!]..[Those songs were Grateful Dead staples in their shows, as you may know..[the Dead are another Huge Fave o' mine]-- I never knew Page was such a scally-wag thief..I'd only heard rumors as a youth....[I never cared for them, really..something I just could not put my finger on bothered me about them, and kinda turned me off]...anyway, I'm a huge fan of 'Art' bands like [early] Genesis, King Crimson, and Yes...and Procol Harum and even some ELP...and Steve Hackett, and Gabriel...Also huge Zappa, Grateful Dead[and Phish, too]..Little Feat[early] and Steely Dan and Allman's..etc...[are you yawning yet??]...thought we might have some musical 'commonalities' and could talk some cool tunes/bands up....hope to hear back from you.....Take Care, Kevin
