    Re: THANK YOU,Senator Hatrack

Hey Vault Keepers,  Again a very good list!Alright Hatrack!,I'm assuming Sen. is the abrv.for Senator.FINALLY somebody else asks for MR.Winters, tho it's too bad it had to be a politician.I'm always beggin' for J.Beck&J.Winter 1st&foremost.I gotta say that at my age,I short circuit thinkin' about ALL the stuff I'd like to hear. All in due time I 'spose.Within the last week I've read a feedbacker who knows of a Steely Dan show at the Fillmore.I'm no xpert but that would likely be a VERY rare find. Thanks agin' for askin' for Johnny W.Now,Vault Keepers,So according to the write up,Aerosmith opened for Golden Earring,a band that as far as my ears remember, would've had to be headlining on the strength of Radar Love?I don't mean to nit-pick but in '78-'79 I saw them open Aerosmith at the Cap.Center.It was 'spose to be Styx, but Tommy Shaw was reportably ill.I'm sad to say{as a VERY loyal 'Smith fan}that earring was better.None of us new any songs but Radar Love, the bullet hadn't hit the bone yet,but they WERE tight.I won't swear to the year, but the boyz from Boston had a real bad mix, house&stage.I say stage cuz Joe kept kickin' the monitor&would throw his hands up&quit playing.I think I was at a show that clearly hinted at the changes&break that happened soon after.V.R.s' small offering of 'smith is lots better than what I heard that nite.BUT I DIGRESS,Aerosmith kicked butt from '84 'til..................
