enchantgy:You may end up with some legal trouble on the UFO show that was just released.

It is NOT the Sausolito Record Plant show but the New York Record Plant
show. Which was officially released by UFO as "Big Apple Encounters".
Even walmart has it listed...

I noticed one diffirence... The station name has been removed from the
vault version. Someone must have known that would give it away... !!!???
The Sausolito show I have actually sounds better...
It is actually the Sausalito Record Plant. If you listen to the very beginning of
Big Apple Encounters you will hear Shauna announce she is from
KMET. That was a Los Angeles FM rock station.
So, your issue is with Majestic Rock Records who packaged & released
Big Apple Encounters. They got the city wrong. (What incompetent jug-heads!!) This is typical of UFO's lifelong string of bad luck. They were plagued with piss-poor management and record company incompetence---hence their lack of well-deserved international superstardom.
The "version" here at the Vault has one more track than the cd release. It has
Come On Everybody.I agree, the cd version has much better sound quality.
The show as a whole is rather disappointing due to Schenker's un-remarkable performance. The poor bloke has admitted he used to suffer from terrible stage fright. I don't know if his nerves themselves are responsible for his sometimes less than stellar performances or whether it was the booze & drugs used as a means to steady his nerves.
You'll never hear him in better shape with UFO than on the magnificent
Strangers In The Night album. The greatest live album of the 20th century.
