Are you guys really wasting your time with this guy?  Although I have to admit I envy you Peter.  You have so much time on your hands that you can actually sit here and argue about why you think Zep aren't that good.  I mean you actually have time to search the net to find some Zep lyrics so you can make a post about how crap they are.  Of course Cream or The Who never had any crap lyrics.  They were the equivalent of Shakespeare in the rock world.  Anyway, i do envy because you obvisouly have acheived every dream that you ever had, achieved every goal, that the only thing left for you to do is waste time by making fun of Zeppelin.  Wow. 

On the other hand you could be one of those guys who are constantly pissed off that the bands they think are great just don;t seem to get the same props as Zeppelin and hence you need to vent your anger towards Zeppelin and their fans.

I've seen it a million times on so many different forums.  A pure Zep hater and that's all there is too it.  No matter how much evidence you give him he'll still have the same opinions.  Find him something as good as that 3.30 to 6.30 on I'm So Glad and guess what he'll say it ain't half as good.

Ever try and talk to someone who just won;t listen and pulls in all the usual cliche garbage about ripping this off and that off and the usual tour goings on crap.  I mean come on this guy is quoting from a Richard Cole book!  Yeah all the other bands you like must be sooo squeaky clean.

I'm sorry mate but Clapton has got to be the most over rated guitarist in the history of guitar playing.  Beck being the most under rated of course. 

BTW Peter H, The Who should have done exactly what Zep did when Moon passed away - disband.  Without Moon it was not the Who and no matter how much you try and convince me you aren't going to change my mind.  Moon was an integral part of that band just like Bonham was to Zep.  They were key to those bands. 

Anyway...everyone is entitled to an opinion.
