Ditto for the great Nils Lofgren show, Tower Theater in Philly, 9-6-76.  Incredibly talented artist and song writer.  Remember seeing him with Grin at Berkeley Community Theater when he opened for Neil Young THEN was a member in Neil's Crazy Horse...I had just heard that night about Danny Whitten ODing and thought CITS will never be the same. Well Nils guitar playing was awesome and Cowgirl in the Sand was great...had a negative attitude prior to hearing Nils play that night thinking Crazy Horse would be really weak without DW.  Nils prooved my thining wrong.  Was over 25 years later when I finally got to see Nils again at Palookaville in Santa Cruz then saw him the next night at Slims in SF on the Damage Goods tour. He was kind enough to sign one of the photos I took the night before. Awesome show, especially the SC one. ....been 11 years since I have seen him....his SF show was cancelled last year. MORE NILS!
