WOW!!
    What an incredible disappointment THIS weeks post are- not one show- or part of a show- I would even bother loading to listen to or add to "My Favorites"! A new low for Concert Vault! Even the CSNY set is a let-down. That great Japanese label AURORA BOREALIS put out the complete nights of the 4 & 5th, two years ago in better sound quality and you can still pick 'em up, if you know where to look!
   What a drag.With all the stuff you supposedly have to work with and COULD post, what's with the second-rate, washed-up C & W acts? Did somebody get a "bulk" deal on John Anderson tapes? Someone down there related to the dude or something? Why do you think we would care? Is the idea to FORCE us to listen to crap we don't really want to hear and does not even belong in this setting, in the hopes that we'll "learn" to enjoy it? Do you guys even LOOK at your "TOP RATED CONCERTS" page? Out of 40- that's FORTY- concerts- not ONE Bobby Bare or John Anderson or any other "country" act! Sorry "Silver Eagle". The only thing even REMOTELY close is The Marshall Tucker Band- God Bless 'em-and that's about as close as you wanna' be!! Believe me, I love my "Country-Rock" and "Country" don't bother me so much- in the old band I was in, we used to play "Up Against the Wall, Redneck Mothers!" and "Drop Kick Me Jesus" and every Waylon and Hank and Willie and on and on, song you can think of! But THIS site isn't called "HillbillyHeaven.com" it's called WOLFGANGSVAULT.COM - as in Bill Graham and The Fillmores and Winterland and ROCK MUSIC!! See those "images" at the top of this page? I see Duane-era Allman Bros.(the best!), Rick Griffin art from his Hendrix poster and Bill and KBFH and Winterland and Fillmore lettering. All that seriously over-priced artwork and photos, memoribilia and T-shirts didn't come from George Jones and Tammy Wynette concerts! No cowboy hats and belt-buckles. The whole gig that's represented here is rock, Rock, ROCK!! And not 80's MTV bands, either- they've already ruined music enough- why inflict them on the world even more than they already ahve been? My impression was that THIS place was going to be a HAVEN- an oasis- AWAY from all that! And what a haven it could be! Guess not. Notice also, that out of those FORTY shows only TWO people have ANYTHING past 1980- Stevie Ray and Clapton. That SHOULD kind of give you a clue as to what MOST people would be looking for when they come to this site. What do the majority of people keep asking for over and OVER again? 60's and 70's ROCK! Once again, should be a "clue", huh? So, why this? What next? Billy Ray Cyrus and Wham? "Reba"? Why not create a separate "WashedUp80sMTV&CountryBumpkins.com" site and you can sell "beer hats" and NASCAR T-shirts and be sponsered by Budweiser and Revlon. And then, all the people that think that's "cool" can go over THERE and get spoon-fed all of that they want.YeeHaw!!     I'm sure that 3 or 4 people will write in and proclaim their un-dying devotion to ANYTHING you guys post but that's not really the point, is it? This site seems to be drifting farther and farther away from it's original promise. And THAT's a real drag..........
