I collect music from another band to hear subtle differences among shows, once-only versions of long-forgotten stuff and the occasional "We haven't played this in 30 years, but . . ." "As this site grows, hopefully, we'll have an opportunity to play a track list of songs, as the afore-mentioned Crossroads, from different concerts by a band down the years or compare styles of individuals -- Ian Anderson's, er, unusual flute sneeze or Baker's "rolling a box down the stairs"" drumming with Cream -- as bands and sidemen came and went.
