My brother just told me about this site. Geez, what a treasure!!!
I'm sitting here listening to the Allman Bros. live 1971. Just like I did in Jacksonville 1970-71. Five times. OMG!!
I agree more Mothers need to be posted. One of the tightest acts ever.
I remember Johnny & Edgar walking around asksing the early crowd what they wanted to hear. When they walked up to our little group of high schoolers we were speachless. Little Mr. Derringer was backup guitar. They opened for Grand Funk Railroad. Who came off like three amateurs after the Winter Brothers blew the roof off. Half the crowd left after GFR's second or third *song*. I felt sorry for them. And followed my ride to the parking lot.
More Traffic, Mark-Almond, Pentangle, Tull, early Zep. Any Spirit on tape? I could go on and on.
Thanks for posting this treasure trove. Maybe it will end up in the Smithsonian. Its a national treasure.
