Agreed, Zappa was great. Quicksilver was incredible in person - in the day - better live than their first two albums. Never properly recorded - or toured enough to be known. One of the most under appreciated, under rated bands of all time.Check out Gary Duncan's singing on "Smokestack Lightning" Quicksilver Messenger Service WV 12/31/67. Their best period was from 10/67 to 4/68, when the four of them really got their s**t together.
I hope WV finds more QMS shows from that period and puts them up.
