Hey, I love the Allman Brothers as much as the rest of you guys, but I also realize there was still some good music made after 1978.  Check out the Cars or the Cure or Psychedelic Furs just to name a few.  Hell, even Altered Images is fun to go back and listen to.  Steve Earle in his pre-spiral mode burning through Guitar Town?  Stevie Ray Vaughn blowing away Austinites?
 
Stop pouting about the things here you don't like and realize that these guys are busting their balls trying to get a wide variety of music onto the site.  I love the fact that I can hear Neil Young in his first concerts with Crazy Horse then take a left turn into Echo & the Bunnymen.  What the heck?  If it was all 1965-1969, we would all get burned out and think that world stopped with the break up of the Beatles.
 
I'm not here to defend every band they put on the site, but one man's trash is another man's treasure. rrreeeeelllaaaaaaxxx.....  Roll a fatty and listen to Led Zeppelin at the Filmore again.
