Fillmore wasn't open in 1972. The Stones played a series of shows in 1972 at Winterland(!) that were not only recorded but filmed(!!)
THIS would be the kind of things that would REALLY turn people on at this site - not ABC and Alabama and the Culture Club and Sheena Easton! Check what people actually LISTEN too from these "vaults". Besides the handful of people that would actually care about listening to that crap, the rest of us that may check it out - ONCE- do so out of sheer boredom waiting for something good to get posted! Roy Clark? Big Country? We waited all this time for THAT? The top 35 hits are ALL from before 1980! THAT's what we want!!Not MTV rejects! You're losing your "demographics" here, man. Stop trying to be "everything to everyone" or you will wind up being Nothing to no one! What a drag THAT would be.....
I'm not being "ungrateful"(my spelling)- just realistic. Yes, some of the Fillmore shows were all about "mixing it up" with performers of different styles- and SOMETIMES it worked- but give us "quality"- not "dreck", please.
By the way- never DID get an answer to my question about why this site posts commonly traded tapes of KSAN and other radio station broadcasts- complete with "static" and DJ "talk-overs"- if you actually have the "complete, un-altered, live performances in their entirety" as you advertise? What's the deal?
