Thank you so much for all of the fantastic music. I appreciate it and therefore balk for fear of sounding like an ingrate, but you advertise yourself now as "The Greatest Music NEVER Heard Before", but a great many of the last couple weeks songs in the rotation are from already published sources. That means they have been heard before doesn't it? I find that to be contrary to your apparent mission statement and request that you dig a little deeper in finding your own unique "NEVER before heard" songs from the vast collection you have to choose from.

ANSWER; Thanks for your comments. Since day-one for Vault Radio we have noted in FAQ that some songs (a small percentage) that we play may have been released, first on a vinyl album and then, subsequently, on a CD. These performances still meet the test we apply to all music on VR - they were Bill Graham promoted events and/or in the Bill Graham Archives. So, I would encourage you to read the FAQ as Vault Radio is doing nothing less than what it has told listeners it will do.

Further, it is apparent to us that a majority of our listeners do not have these original albums or do not want to take the time to find them or do not want to go buy them for $15.00 or more (in many cases these albums are out-of-production and cannot be purchased new). We play this music for them.

We are working as hard as we can to prepare the music for each weeks new Playlist. You may think that is an easy task, but it is not. Our highest concern is the listener and there is no standard definition of a listener. Those who attended the Bill Graham shows want one thing, tape collectors another, college students something else and the many other demographic listeners another.

Our design of the weekly playlist will continue to evolve to meet our tastes and, most importantly, the tastes and preferences of ALL our listeners. Thank you for listening to The Vault.
