You really listen to your listners wants and needs. It's 12:45 AM Sunday night and I'm working on a huge operations management proposal, and you're playing one of the best concerts I went to at the Fillmore East, Dereck and the Dominoes- I was 16 and after the concert, one of my biggest thrills at that time was watching Eric leave in a stretch Caddy, thinking how cool is this guy! You must have taken these recordings right off the board because the acoustics that night were horrible- Bobby Whitlock's keyboards dominated the sound that night, and oh, that smell that I didn't know what it was, but it smelled good. But, I knew it was a great opportunity to see that band which lasted as long as Blind Faith, who I got to see at their one and only concert at Madison Square Garden.
Do me a favor, I've been friends (and my guitar mentor) with Leslie West for over 20 years. When I went to see Mountain twice, I never would have imagined that later on in life I would be associated with him. PLEASE PLAY SOME MOUNTAIN CONCERTS- THEY KICKED ASS!
