    Re: Concert Vault Feedback

    Hey Vaulters,

Finally got around to listening to the James Taylor May 26, 1974 Carnegie Hall show and it is a winner - now my favorite JT show you've posted. I wish I could give you a 100% helping hand on the "Unknown - horn section," but I can get you 90% of the way there. After "Don't Let Me Be Lonely Tonight," JT introduces the brass players. They are Alan Rubin and Jon Faddis on trumpet, Barry Rogers on trombone, George Young on alto sax, Kenny Berger on baritone sax, and Howard Johnson on Tuba. Among many other credits, Rubin, Rogers, Young, Berger, and Johnson all played on JT's 1974 "Walking Man" album. Faddis has a prolific Jazz association. The missing sax player is Frank "?" (sounds like "Fracari") whose last name I can't make out. Perhaps someone else can give this section a listen and help complete the credits on this entry. As always, look forward to getting my new weekly postings e-mail from you!

    Thanks,
    Uncle Chick
