    Pentangle 5/29/70

Not sure if this is the right forum for this, but it doesn't seem to fit elswhere.  The last tune for the Pentangle concert, "Pentangling", is actually "Goodby Pork Pie Hat" again.  Not a reprise, but the same performance, it even has the intro to "Speak of the Devil" at the end of it.

Thanks.  I wasn't sure if this qualified as a "support" question or not.

    Re: Pentangle 5/29/70

I have two other questions about the show as you're presenting it.

As the repeat of "Pork Pie Hat" was listed as "Pentangling", a cut from Pentangle's first album, is there any chance that you actually have that tune that you could add to the playlist for this concert?

Also, the first song, Bruton Town, is missing well over half of the beginning of the song as presented on their first album, "The Pentangle."  Any chance that you have the whole song on your recording?  Please understand, I'm not complaining about either of these issues, this is just a fan of Pentangle's and of Wofgan's Vault hoping for more of a great live concert performance.  Thanks for making this all available!

    Re: Pentangle 5/29/70

    Hi,
I am guessing that other pentangle listeners might have simmilar concerns and so I created a pentangle concert forum and am moving this thread there.

My appologies for the double-move, we are still fine-tuning how the forums are organized.

I will get the attention of one of the archivests and point them at this thread again.
    Thanks for your help!

    Re: Pentangle 5/29/70

    Hello Mr. Mushroom,

Thanks for the inquiry. I've made some changes to the Pentangle show, the first is I've appended an 'Incomplete' to Bruton Town. Unfortunately, the reel was not recording until the song was already in progress. This is a typical problem with live recordings as reels tended to run out or were being changed in inopportune moments leaving gaps in songs.
Regarding, 'Pentangling', i've added this song to the show.

    Enjoy!

I know I'm going to sound impatient, but this is more out of curiousity.  How long do the changes you made take to propagate?  I've restarted my browser, cleared my  temp internet file cache, and I still see/hear the original list/tunes.  Even if it takes until tomorrow for the changes to show up, I'm impressed with the promptness of your response.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!  19 minutes of Pentangling bliss was well worth the wait!  From John's subtle electric guitar work, to Jacqui's soaring vocalise, to Danny's 5 minute solo which included quotes from "Round Midnight" and "So What" among others.  What a way to end the concert!
