    Re: Downloads are Here

    yes nektar!! not nectar..

i prefer the b and c and d groups. i'm always looking for the hidden gems and lots of these 1 or 2 lp artists never had their live sets released. ie: seatrain & pierce arrow & aum to start. keep these historically unavaible groups coming.  still looking for the lee michaels u had on vault radio before the concert vault started!!!

the "a" list all have live concerts available so unless it is a completely different song list or unique from whats available why get the same stuff over & over. and the dead?? there are more live dead shows  available than almost all the rest of the music world together. look around.

I'm glad you are offering downloads.  I will wait for lossless formats before spending money.

It should be OK, rpm.  Try clearing your browser's cache, close your browser, then try again.

    Re: Downloads are Here

Great to see that the first downloads have finally been made available. At least a step into the right direction. However, I will save my money until lossless downloads (preferably FLAC) are being offered. Hopefully this will not take too long.

    Re: Downloads are Here

Glad to see some Big Country and Alarm shows for download, also the Gary U.S. Bonds and Dave Edmunds. I'll be grabbing some of these as soon as the lossless files are available.

I'm hoping that you'll be able to offer some late 70's Elvis Costello, 60's Muddy Waters and the Allmans shows amongst others.

Any chance of giving an indication of when lossless will be available.

Also, what about album artwork? Is art included in the download and, if not, do you intend to make it available?

Thanks for the feedback.  We will provide an update on lossless as soon as we have a definitive time frame.  We appreciate the patience.

In terms of artwork, there is a link in the footer of every page to "Concert Art" that provides you with access to images for each artist.  You can also paste this into your browser:

    Re: Downloads are Here

Very happy to see the downloads are now here and 9.98 is a fair price, Thanks!!. The Humble Pie show looks good, I remember seeing them in 73. Was at the Mountian show at the Captiol so I'll get that one too. Saw Steve Miller back then as well, so there's another. The Foghat show too.    Now , what I'm waiting for is my Allman's at the Filmore , Cream, Clapton , Led Zep,The Band...etc...etc... and the other main ones in the vault.  What's your time limit on getting those on here?  I realize it's a large undertaking, just wondering if you have a ETA on them?

    Give us some POCO

Great site, great downloads, but...where is Poco, one of the major live acts of the 70's-80's-90's and 2000's. Too many fans around the world like to have some shows of this band that gave us some of the best live shows ever. C'mon, wipe the dust of these legendary performances and share it with us, Wolfgang Vault junkies!

Finally !  But what I would like to know is when we will be able to purchase individual tracks in addition to whole shows.

    Chelsea Potter:
Great site but must say I am disappointed at the initial offerings. How about offfering us some of the overlooked classic/progressive rock bands. Please consider some 70s era Tull, some Yes, Supertramp, more early Genesis and of course .... More Zappa please.

    Chelsea-

If you are looking for some Yes and Supertramp, here are some good alternatives:

Jon Anderson (Yes frontman, not country singer John Anderson):

    and

Ringo Starr & His All-Star Band (features Roger Hodgson singing some Supertramp hits):

    Re: Downloads are Here

Will Lossless FLAC files ever be available for download?

Seems silly to only offer Lossy Mp3 files of these classic concerts.  I'd gladly pay a little more for Lossless files.

If you would read the first post in this thread, you'd get an answer to your question.
